In the months leading up to my wedding in January 2020, I faced a challenge I never imagined. My once-clear skin suddenly broke out with stubborn acne, blackheads, and dark spots that just wouldn’t fade. Each wedding function demanded heavy makeup, and beneath those layers my skin felt suffocated and overwhelmed. Deep down, I knew it was crying out from the overload of synthetic products.

Then, just weeks later, the world slowed down. The pandemic lockdown gave me something rare – time. Away from salons, treatments, and the rush of daily life, I finally turned inward. I began searching for answers in nature, learning about traditional skincare wisdom, holistic healing, and the craft of handmade soapmaking. I made one firm decision: I would never put chemicals on my skin again.

What started as simple kitchen experiments quickly became a revelation. Using pure plant-based oils, clays, herbs, and essential oils, I created my very first batches of soap. Slowly but surely, my skin began to change. The acne started to fade, the marks grew lighter, and my skin felt calmer and healthier than it had in years. For the first time in months, I felt at peace in my own skin.

My journey didn’t stay personal for long. Friends and family who saw the difference in me began asking for soaps of their own. When they too experienced the same gentle, healing results, their encouragement made me realize that this was bigger than just me, it was a calling.

In 2021, Moonbeam Soaps was born. Inspired by the calm glow of moonlight and guided by the timeless wisdom of nature, I built this brand with a promise: to create pure, handcrafted skincare with no synthetics, ever.

Every bar of Moonbeam Soap carries a piece of my journey, from the struggles of sensitive skin to the joy of rediscovering balance and confidence through natural living. With my background in English Literature, I pour intention, artistry, and storytelling into everything I create. From sourcing ingredients with care to using eco-conscious packaging, I believe skincare should be both healing and beautiful.
